New ATEM Micro Camera Panel Revealed at NAB 2025

What it is

Think of the existing ATEM Camera Control Panel shrunk down to one bank of controls instead of many. Same things controlled: iris, pedestal, and color. It handles up to eight cameras, and you switch between camera options on the panel to control each one. It works with any Blackmagic camera you're already controlling from your ATEM.

Power and connection

• A USB connection that serves for either power or connectivity
• Bluetooth
• An internal battery, which is what makes it genuinely portable

Battery life isn't officially quoted. Sarah's estimate, based on Blackmagic's other Bluetooth devices like the Micro Color Panel and the Speed Editor, is several hours, so you should get a good day out of it. Release timing given at the show was May.
